Brief Description
This project comprised six high quality residential 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units for sale; four townhouses, one duplex apartment and one apartment, arranged in one three storey block. The site was subject to an enabling demolition contract. The construction of the building was of traditional masonry construction and included substantial reduction in site level and introduction of a gabion retaining wall to part of the site perimeter.
Cassian involvement commenced with the preparation of various cost plans resulting in a value engineering exercise in order to achieve best value for the employer. Subsequent to that, Cassian managed the design, prepared the Employer’s Requirements, procured the project on a competitive Design and Build basis, prepared contract documentation and administered the contract through to completion.
The design and construction was undertaken by the construction company G.W. Deeley Limited
The project was completed in April 2015.
