Brief Description
The works comprised a new A9 Accommodation Unit providing 60 en-suite cell units over two storeys, single storey education, multifaith and workshop new buildings. All of these buildings where designed and installed as off-site modular construction. The works also included the re-modelling of other areas of the prison including the critical areas of the control room and visits.
Cassian was involved in the bidding stage for Willmott Dixon Construction providing planning and logistics services, preparing programmes, method statements, site logistics plans and phasing drawings. Once successful, Willmott Dixon employed Cassian to provide early on-site planning services, utilising the principles of Lean Programming to prepare weekly progress reports.
Cassian also provided claims planning services to justify a successful extension of time claim.
